Trinidad and Tobago CERT is a national non-profit organization created to advance the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) programme in Trinidad. TTCERT has identified several areas to support in the coordination and effective use of CERT Volunteers, and will achieve the following objectives:

Advocate for advanced training and continuous capacity building of CERT

Develop standards and procedures to guide the mobilization of CERT

Ensure all CERT Teams have access to response equipment and PPE gear
-
Build community resilience and inclusion of CERT into community response and resilience plans

Conduct community vulnerability assessments to identify community DRR initiatives.
Training We Offer
CERT TRAINING
The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program educates volunteers about disaster preparedness for the hazards that may occur where they live.
CERT trains volunteers in basic disaster response skills, such as:

Fire safety

Light search and rescue

Team organization
-
Disaster medical operations
